Taxidermy Class Covers:

favorite project to learn when beginning in taxidermy is tanning
your own hides. In this DVD, techniques are taught that would
apply to most any common hide: Raccoon, Fox, Bobcat, Beaver
and of course big game such as Deer, Elk, Caribou and Bear.
The process is the same, just a bit harder for larger animals.
Bill teaches
how to take a green hide and flesh it, salt it, pickle and neutralize, then
reflesh the hide for a great end product. The tanning and soften agents
are applied and the final result is a soft, pliable deer skin rug that can be
proudly displayed.
